1.0 Series: Webinars

Our webinars are the first tier of our training services. Through a series of short, online presentations, we will introduce you to the core concepts of a variety of topics. Topics are chosen for our webinar series according to the feedback we receive from non-profit organizations, academics, and students. For example, on countless occasions, people working in the non-profit sector have asked us what exactly program evaluation is, and what a program logic model should include. In response, we created two separate webinars (i.e., Program Evaluation 101 and What’s a Program Logic Model And Why Should I Care) to specifically answer those questions.

The key features of our Webinars:

• The first level of our training system. Together our webinars comprise the 1.0 Series. This means that they all share similarities in 1) the depth of material covered, 2) level of interaction, and 3) level of time commitment required from attendees. For example, our webinars serve as a brief introduction to larger topics. They are a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with key terms and concepts. Conversely, our 2.0 Series: Interactive E-Training, will go much more in depth and introduce activities to help you master the content. With each subsequent series, more material is covered, activities are utilized, and you get more time to interact with facilitators.

• Convenience. Our goal is to limit each webinar to a 30-minute time frame. We identify what is most relevant to a topic and deliver it to you in a way that is not overwhelming.

• E-Training is facilitated by two experienced consultants. Similar to our regular training workshops, two facilitators are always present to ensure all attendees receive one-on-one consultation.

• Two is better than one. Similar to our 2.0 Series: Interactive E-Training and 3.0 Series: Training Workshops, each webinar is facilitated by two experienced applied research consultants.  While one facilitator presents material, the other is handling text-based questions. Even for our webinars we want to make sure your questions get answered.

• Material is presented in real time. All of our webinars are delivered live. You will never sit in on a pre-recorded webinar. If you have a question, it will be answered. With all live presentations, however, there is a potential for technical difficulties…but we feel the live experience is worth the risk.

• Financial savings. If it’s a webinar and it’s from ASC, then it is complimentary. Whether you are a past client or looking to see the quality of services we deliver, our webinars are free. And of course they take place at your computer so you don’t have to worry about commuting or parking.

• Encore performance. Following each webinar, attendees can access an audio/video recording of the presentation.
